VLP – Autoresponder Example

This Form Shows Only When You Are Not On The Designated List.

Please fill out and submit the form below and you will have access the the content!

This example demonstrates how you can limit the content users have access to until they subscribe to your email list.

How It Works:

  • Once the owner’s autoresponder account has established a connection with Visitor Logic Pro, VLP uses the API to access information and check if the visitor is an existing subscriber or adds them to the list.
  • When a user submits the form provided, Visitor Logic Pro sets a browser cookie for that individual autoresponder.
  • The stored cookie is then referenced in the future so the user does not have to resubmit their info each time they visit the page.
  • Therefore, if the visitor is a known subscriber, they will have access to the content and not be shown the form.

Set Up:

  • Create a new Logic Block.
    • Under the VLP Settings:
      • Be sure your selected autoresponder’s connection is made in the VLP Options area. For this example we are using aWeber.
      • Under the General tab, “Use VLP Logic” should be selected.
      • Under the aWeber tab, select “Display” radio button to show the content if the visitor is a known subscriber of this aWeber list.
      • Now select the aWeber list to reference and see if the visitor is on.
      • Now paste in the form code which the autoresponder will provide.
    • Content Area:
      • The main content area is where you will add all the content you want the visitor to see once they are subscribed to your mailing list.
  • The last step is to add the correct logic block shortcode anywhere you’d like.
    • Shortcode Example: [lp-logic ids=’46’]
  • Or assign that logic block to a widget area using a Visitor Logic Pro widget.

Give it a try by filling out the form below and gaining access to the content!
